THIS EVENT IS HOSTED BY MICHAEL AND SARAH BAIN GALLERY

This event if free as usual. Promises to be a night of great art, good food and wine, and great people such as yourselves.

Sarah Bain Gallery is pleased to announce its exhibition and reception with artist Anne-Elizabeth Sobieski.

Over the course of time, we are able to observe the unfolding in Sobieski's work. She quite eloquently blurs the lines between drawing and painting, where geometric and organic elements intertwine in their visual chorus that is both supernatural and intimate. Through color and vigorous line, familiar forms are reduced to their fundamental essences, thereby making them profoundly lyrical.

AE Sobieski is from Pasadena, California. She began concentrated art studies at the University of Colorado Boulder, fueling a passion that led her to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Returning to Southern California, she graduated in 1995 with a BFA degree in Illustration from Art Center College of Design, Pasadena.
