Introduction

Hi, Love to learn about it, have no talent doing it!

Can you help me by planning one event per year??? :-)

Group visits to exhibitions might be fun. I go now when I can. Currently I am trying to walk around the Laguna 'outdoor' art pieces, but some are hard to find. Maybe someone can point me in the right directions :)

Why Fine Art? (This question is open-ended on purpose.)

Fine Art is just one of those things that I try to make time for. I think most people need beauty in their lives. Fine Art is one way to ensure you have it :)

Do you have a favorite art style, medium, gallery, and/or museum (and why)?

Impressionism probably, although I like a lot of different era's/styles. I love the Getty Centre/Villa (A couple of decent Monet's and an abundance of peace and gardens too) Abstract art can be too much like hard work and Still Life can be Mundane!

Do you have a favorite artist (and why)?

Of the greats, has to be Monet. I could live with his work in my living space. Can't say that about every piece I admire :)

Do you have a background in Fine Art or are you just an art fan?

Not really, just a bit in High School. Love messing with photography though, but no pretensions of being a Fine Artist.
