Why Fine Art? (This question is open-ended on purpose.)

Art is appreciated on an individual level, what I think is beautiful may not appeal to the next person. So, as to what makes something "fine art" in my opinion- it has to inspire me emotionally.

Oil Painting plein aire-the Getty because of the diversity it offers.
