Hope life is treating you well. We have a joint meet-up for anyone interested in learning more about Photography. John LaVere of Studio 1904 Photography will be hosting an event at:

On Sept. 11th at 8pm

Here's the plan: Before the event, post up to 30 of your favorite images online as an album on Facebook, Flickr, or some other venue. During the event each participants album will be viewed by the group. Each participant will select their top 10 favorite images from each album. The object is to identify the images that make the most impact on the group from each portfolio. While discussion is not part of the official rating process, this will be informally structured so that people who would like to discuss qualitative aspects of the images will be able to do so throughout the evening. Its a critique and a mixer so bring a date or a friend.

What to bring:


A note pad and pencil.
A laptop to access the wi-fi may be helpful but isn't necessary.
A snack or beverage to share.
A friend or a date.

Please join me for our monthly meeting Monday,Aug. 10. 6pm at Insight Arts 1505 W. Morse.
Those of you, who would like to sell work with us as International Art Group at the Glenwood Arts Fair,in Rogers Park, Chicago, on Aug 22. and 23. ,please meet me at 5pm the same day, Aug. 10., we will talk about the details.
Those of you , who would like to be announced as participating artists, with International Art Group on a printed brochure and card, should RSVP with me by Wed., Aug. 5.
I am looking forward to see you at the next meeting Aug. 10. Please bring a piece of art , film, poetry, writing, music to share, media will be provided.
