About Pittsburgh, Army of Artist, Art Coalition

Pittsburgh Army of Artist, Art Coalition is a collaborative artist group working together to develop interesting and unforgettable group art shows for profit and charity events. The group will explore various themes, subject matters and interesting ways to show the art to the public.

The concept of Army of Artist, is to assemble a large artist coalition that uses art as a tool to make a change in peoples lives. Some of the uses of the coalition will be the education of art as an outlet to other destructive and self destructive activities, to help raise money and create awareness for charity, non profit organizations, the possibilities are endless.

The coalition consists of artists working in a wide range of mediums from painters, sculptors, photographers, conceptual artists, performance artists, filmmakers, graphic designers, musicians, writers, poets, etc. and all experience levels from beginners to experts.

As a group we will have social meetings so that members can get to know each other, share ideas, experience and techniques. In these meetings we will discus events we would like to produce, issues we would like to address and charities we would like to help. All members are encouraged to participate in any way they feel comfortable and to invite other artisans to the coalition.
