Why should you join my meetup? To learn about art classes (October will be the unveiling of my new website providing online art classes, very exciting) and art happenings around San Diego. I have been an artist in San Diego for almost 10 years and teach at the Athenaeum School of the Arts and UCSD Extension. I post classes that I teach as well as art events on my meetup. In addition, I exhibit my work with Ronis & Associates of San Diego, Sue Greenwood Fine Art in Laguna Beach and Blue Gallery in Kansas City and try to share my art shows as well as fellow artists' shows to a broader public.

Build confidence and expand your drawing skills! Through use of different materials and techniques, students become comfortable with drawing as process. Topics include: proportion, foreshortening, perspective, nature of light, chiaroscuro and exploration of new forms of expression. Using wet & dry media, you will work on still lifes, self-portraits & other imagery, while strengthening your own voice. Read more
