Art and Animals at SD Zoo with Artist Elizabth Washburn
|
Come join these classes at the San Diego Zoo that combine a live wild animal encounter with making a work of art. Artist Elizabeth Washburn (www.ewashburn.com) leads the workshop with help from San Diego Zoo animal educators. This workshop is designed for the beginner art enthusiast as well as the more experienced artist. It is a chance to get up close and personal to a Cheetah and a Serval as well as Red River Hog and then create a piece of art reflecting this experience. A love of animals and art is all that is necessary. Elizabeth is an experienced art instructor, teaching at UCSD and the Athenaeum School of the Arts.
