2nd FRIDAY art disrt, of down town mesa thoughts?

Hey everyone,

I wanted to know everyones thought on downtown mesa's 2nd friday art walk. I am a merchant owner (pizzeria) that displays contemp. art and we could always use more artist that want to show on 2nd fridays. we get a pretty big crowd , live music, ect.. please contact me or post your thoughts. right now the art walk lacks vision and there is plenty of room for more artist's. lets make this the biggest art walk in the valley. as you know the historic disrt. is really nice and is a artsy community. I am trying to organize more artist that would like to show there work.

I do not know if realize that this MeetUp is sponsored by the East Valley Art Guild which is organizing and promoting the 4th Friday ArtWalk at Mesa Riverview. It is the Guilds intention to make it the premier ArtWalk in the East Valley. We have put much energy into this event so far and it kicks off this month. We have a ton of sponsors, and the GUilds 200 artist members are supporting our ArtWalk, plus we are getting a good response from our MeetUp Membership.

The Guild's web site is www.eastvalleyartguild.com and all of the information on the ArtWalk is located there. If the 2nd Friday ArtWalk lacks focus, then you should look to your arts organization to change that. If you know the right people, the Guild leadership would be glad to get involved, but when we come into an event, we manage the entire event, not just participate in the event, and we know how to organize and promote an event.

We have events coming up in Tempe, Mesa, QueenCreek, and Gilbert.
