original art exhibition/sales March to December 2008 March Meeting

I am an Artist, an Events organiser and own all the infrastructure to run a 25 - 35 artists Exhibition/sale, where we exhibit on pegboards with hooks, easels, tables, lights, banners...Posters, fliers, leaflets, web presence, web sites etc.

We Have got this down to a smooth operation now and feel it is time to get more of the local and not so local Artists involved further, especially young adults and Students who may wish to have a career in Art or just would love to get involved and have chance to meetup with like-minded and motivated people.

There is no membership fee, we are having a Meetup.

If you want to exhibit ( march to december ) look at the website then contact me - non-compulsory - no pressure.

Initially the meetup is about getting to know and discuss things with one another.

We can go to the pub, stay there or agree to meetup elsewhere again, whatever.

Myself and the regular exhibiting Artists have a lot of experience and are happy to talk about Art and exhibiting.

A fair few of us are involved in both Regional and National Art Collectives and have a decent Internet and local presence in the Art world plus we have the contacts. This is what its all about - Networking but not just Myspace or Facebook - in real life as well.

Please accept this open invite, come along - introduce yourself, if you have a business card bring 'em with you, I will.

We can give you advice and tips and you never know point you in the right direction towards High Street Galleries, Internet Galleries, Competitions and information about other Events elsewhere - and perhaps you can inspire us and new Meetees as well.

Indeed if you are a Gallery Owner and want to see our Artists or meet new undiscovered talent, please come along or contact me privately - I do not act as an Agent to the Artists on my books ( over 250 ) but am willing to 'introduce' you to each other and a business relationship develop or not as you both, perhaps I could just oil the wheels of commerce for you both.
