Welcome Creative Angelenos!

The purpose of this group is to "meetup" and connect artists and art enthusiasts to each other. All forms of art, including painters, writers, photographers, sculptors, poets, conceptual artists, musicians, performance artists, filmmakers, graphic designers etc. I hope to get some group art making/poetry writing/creative expression meetups going. But please use the site to suggest your own events and activities through the Message Board.

If you want to go somewhere or do something creative and want to try and find like minded people to do it with you, please post your interest on the message board so everyone can see what's available. If there is enough interest in a particular activity then you can email me and I can make it an official meetup to be emailed to everyone. Or, I can make you an assistant organizer so you can get the info emailed out. But that is not necessary. You can simply use the message board if you like.

This Meetup Group now requires new members to answer some simple questions when they join. This is to insure that the needs of the members are clear. I would like all members to participate as schedules permit because isn't that the purpose of joining a "Meetup Group" in the first place?

Lastly, this Meetup's first goal is to allow people that love creative activities an opportunity to meet others with the same love. This is not a place to advertise your business without first getting to know the group. I will decline anyone that only joins the group to promote a product or business venture so keep this in mind before joining. If you have something that you believe the members would be interested in, send me a message first.
