Welcome to Sydney Sketch Club!!
There is no abstract art. You must always start with something. Afterward you can remove all traces of reality.

Meet with other people who want to sketch or paint (outdoors mostly) in and around the Sydney area. We will also be attending some indoor sketching events as well just to keep a good mix of activities. Occasionally we may also just go and view visual art.
We can plan a location and then take our art supplies and draw/paint there for a few hours. Maybe have coffee afterwards.
It's not a class but just people who want to draw/paint at any level of experience. You will need your own art supplies.
About me: I've always had a love of and interest in drawing and painting and take classes on occasion. I've always wanted to sketch and paint outside (landscapes) like the Impressionists and others in the past. I'm new to Sydney and think its one of the most beautiful areas, so why not find some other people who want to do this too.
