Bringing music and art lovers together for gigs, concerts, art shows and random social gatherings. I expect most events will be in Leeds but i have no problems with them being anywhere in the country. It's up to you where we go. As far as live music goes, i think the best site for keeping track of upcoming concerts is Songkick http://www.songkick.com - enter as many artists/bands/musicians as you like and Songkick will tell you when they're next playing. It should even email you to let you know …

The idea is simple, go out as a group and take photos. Any age, any level of experience, any kind of camera, any media (digital, film). West Yorkshire has a wealth of cities, villages and countryside, and a little further away in the summer months, even the seaside. Its all a bit loose at the moment but things will firm up over the winter. The first meeting (as part of the Leeds Live Music and Art Lovers group) was a success despite the weather and I hope we can build on that. The idea is to M …

This a social network for people who suffer from depression and anxiety, and want to make connections with others who “know what it’s like”. We arrange some on-topic support group events, as well as many random get-togethers. The group is private (i.e. no one can see who the members are) and will always remain so. It’s also not a public service, as I fund the group. If I was asked to describe the group ethos, I'd say: nothing is expected of our members, and, the belief that people should be in a …

I believe that Jiu-Jitsu is like a chess. A chess game where your limbs are the pieces. And as such the very best way to improve is to face a superior opponent. The premise is simple. Open mats. When you force a submission you go back & explain how you got the upperhand & what they could have done to defend & counter against it. Then you go back, implement the counter & continue. partners change every three submissions. Sessions will be held on the last Sunday of the month.

I am an artist and for ages have been looking to find a group focussed on conceptual art, but can't find anything so thought i would set up one myself. This group is for anyone with an interest in art or anything. You don't have to be Tracey Emin or Benjamin Buchloh, just passionate and into the alternative. I am also interested in starting collaborative projects and organizing some events, so hopefully these meet ups will set the ball rolling.

Hi there! This is a group for older singles, specifically with either no children or older children (let's say all are over the age of 13 or 14)! There are many singles groups, but this is to specifically cater for those that have lots of free time on their hands, who want to meet someone special in a similar position.
This group is devoted to the reading of one book: Thus Spoke Zarathustra As a group, i would like us to read the first half of the book, discuss it, then go on to read the second half and discuss that. I will be reading the Cambridge edition, translated by Adrian Del Caro, as i like the style; but the Kaufmann and Hollingdale translations are also good (it might be helpful if the group reads the same translation, but it's not essential). I would also definitely recommend finding a readers guide.
