Art Therapy is an amazing modality for working through, healing, and transforming, the trauma of sexual abuse. Through the use use of color and form we can communicate in ways that words can never touch. We can touch and heal emotions deeply and safely. You do not have to be an artist to be able to benefit from Art Therapy, you just have to be willing to put color and shapes on paper, or make forms out of clay.
