This group is for anyone who want to take Nia Technique classes in Worcester County, Massachusetts. For the anti-couch-potato crowd! Get yourself out of the house! Concerts, shows, plays, folk/jazz clubs, museums and other cultural soirees. More active events as well - wine tasting, cooking lessons, archery or horseback riding! Trips to cities in the US and even abroad. Interesting and different things to do with a group of interesting and different kinds of people. Variety is the spice of life and life is short! All ages welcome!

I unexpectedly took over this group when the previous organizer had to move out of state rather abruptly. Unlike most photo groups on meetup we don’t have one particular theme or style that we follow. Instead we enjoy almost all forms of photography from nature, modeling, landscape and anything else that’s interesting enough to take a photo of. … What ever photo thing you are into -we are sure you will find a chance to participate.   As a group we do have a gallery space located at City Hall. Every 3-4 months we hang images in this space that are based on a city wide theme. There is a juried entry process- but even that is very casual. You may submit an image online and if chosen you make a print of the image, have it matted and then attend one of our famous framing parties (the city provides the frames) but we do the work framing them. …

… You need not work in the field to join nor be of any particular age. Just be interested in making better pictures and having a desire to express yourself through a lens. I will help you find the inner skills that you have, but were never taught how to express properly. If you thought film school teaches you a lot you haven't seen what we do. Blows it out of the water. :)

  This group is for people who like to learn, have fun & stay healthy. Tai Chi is a fun & effective way to build a healthy body and a strong mind. These classes are made possible by your contributions. The suggested after class donation is $5-$10. If you can't afford this amount please contribute by telling your friends about us.
